Jessie's House
Quilts Needed and Store Sew In day
The Jessica Martel Memorial Foundation is finalizing construction on Jessie’s House with plans to open on April 1st, 2020, offering shelter from domestic violence to individuals and families within the Sturgeon Region, Alexander First Nation, Edmonton Garrison and the City of St. Albert. Hoping to offer the comfort of a quilt to each client, the Foundation is looking for donations. If you are a quilter, please consider donating a quilt to Jessie’s House. You can drop off your donation at Quiltessential Co, 100 McKenney Ave, St. Albert.
If you are available and a fairly confident quilter you could help us at Quiltessential Co with this project. We need people to cut, sew, quilt and bind. Please sign up at the store. We are having “sew days” to get quilts done and more.
