20TH ANNIVERSARY MEMORIES
Here are memories from the last 20 years. We started on 10A Perron Street St. Albert, in 2004. 2006 we took over the rental space behind us and added on. We survived two floods due to rain and overflowing storm drains. Amazing staff and customers helped us clean up and keep going. We survived a frozen water main flood and a leaking roof....more help from everyone and I am so grateful!
We moved to 100 McKenny Ave St. Albert in 2011. There we tore apart an old Petrocan garage and moved in thanks to a much dedicated staff and customers. We had another roof leak and so we had to build up. The cost of a new sloped roof and repairs were pushing us into an addition! We had a gas leak, 2 fire alarms and more roof leaks. We converted the store into a Drive Thru during Covid and got a website with sales, and tapping your credit card on the window within 24 hours! However, throughout it all we have only been closed for TWO days in twenty years. We have made hundreds of charity quilts and helped with thousands of quilting projects! We are proud of it all.
My heartfelt thanks go to my staff members over the years, the volunteers and my amazing loyal customers.

Fun and friends -
Customer #17 who helped me with my first renovation on a ladder and is still my best and most supportive customer and best friend!
Mary and Helen who are now no longer with us, but were best friends. If one came in to add to her stash, the other would be in to add the same fabric within 24 hours! Here they are loving the 3-D fabric and glasses!

Everyone who completed by the deadline and gave us a photo were added into a draw - these winners are Sandra Day and Pat Coxen. The prizes were Layer Cakes or Jelly Rolls! Here are a few of the quilts - but not all!
